Hours of work:
To start with it will be 7:00 am – 4:00 pm Mon to Thurs.
7:00 am – 1:00 pm Friday.
40 hours per week.
- Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend and shape metal sheets according to specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine production requirements.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet design specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and tooling.
- Ability to read, understand and follow technical drawings
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production.
- High understanding of health and safety
Able to work from drawings, Stainless Steel Fabrication experience essential, able to MIG weld an advantage. Immediate start - Full Time.
Grainer / Lishinsher:
Must be able to work to a high standard with Stainless Steel. Experience with all hand-held tools is a must, along with Twin Belt Graining machines a distinct advantage.
CNC Miller / Manual Miller:
We are seeking a dependable, innovative candidate who can work confidently and independently. Using Hurco CNC mills and willing to use conventional milling machines as well.
You should have an above-average aptitude for trigonometry, geometry, statistics, and algebra, excellent computer and interpersonal communication skills, physical stamina, and a keen interest in production and processing.
To be successful as a machinist you should be creative, perceptive, meticulous, and an active learner. The candidate should possess exceptional critical thinking, time management, and communication skills, an ability to manage complex machines and tools, and a willingness to lead by example in the workplace.
Must be experienced.
